About us

Lingupedia was founded in 2007 in Luxembourg with a branch in Heidelberg, Germany. It was first financed as a research project for innovative automatic translations. A first prototype was presented soon after. Lingupedia beat well known international competitors in an independent comparison by the renowned University of Stuttgart.

The definition and elaboration of the Lingupedia algorithm unveiled a vast spectrum of possible applications of which some are realized.

Lingupedia is based on the semantic technology and linguistic expertise of its experienced technology partners, like SpeechConcept.
